Thank you for your interest in the Undergraduate Research Scholars (URS) program. Our URS Scholar Application for the 2025-2026 academic year is closed. The application for the 2026-2027 school year will open in May 2026.
Eligible students for URS are:
- From any college or school at UW-Madison
- First-year or transfer undergraduate students starting at UW–Madison this Summer or Fall term
- Current UW–Madison undergraduate students starting their second year this Summer or Fall term
- Available to attend the Wednesday seminar from 5:30 to 6:30 pm both Fall and Spring semesters.
